Congrats to the stunning couple – Taylor & Elizabeth (Lizzie) – who we had the honor of working with to plan their dream Destin wedding and reception. Taylor and Lizzie were so much fun to get to know and work closely with on every detail of their big day. Our wedding planners were thrilled to plan their Destin wedding to reflect the fun, loving couple that they were.
Their Yacht Wedding
Taylor and Lizzie chose the Destin wedding package that included the SOLARIS yacht venue in Sandestin Florida so they could celebrate their ceremony and reception at the same location. Their all-inclusive wedding package also included wedding floral design by our wedding planners, wedding venue planning, wedding coordination services and reception planning.
It was a picture perfect day in Sandestin as our wedding planners adorned the SOLARIS Yacht open air sky deck with all shades of light pink flowers and greenery. The bridal platform was accented with beautiful wedding flowers and lush accent greenery to reflect a romantic wedding out at sea.
Taylor and Lizzie were the sweetest couple and had everyone laughing the entire day. During the sky deck wedding, Lizzie had THREE people try to give her away – she said “The officiant and ship captain asked who gives me away and Emily (my Maid Of Honor) confidently said “I DO!” then Brenda did and then Randy (my Dad) did. Third time’s the charm! It made the ceremony. A memory we will always have of our very special wedding!”
Their Reception on the SOLARIS Yacht
After the wedding, guests enjoyed the coastal views and breezes while Taylor and Lizzie took some amazingly gorgeous pictures by Destin wedding photographer Sarah and Paul Photography. The sparkling waters and expansive Destin coastlines made for beautiful backgrounds for all their wedding pictures. The newlyweds could not stop smiling as they enjoyed their first few moments as husband and wife.
Taylor and Lizzie treated their guests to a wedding reception out at sea that immediately started after the sky deck wedding. The couple chose our Share the Yacht wedding reception package that included dinner and dancing. Another part of the yacht was open for a public dinner cruise that night and another couple got engaged that night! Lizzie instantly ran up to them to congratulate them. It was such a sweet moment for everyone onboard!
