30A Destination Weddings Feature – Carly and Blake
Carly and Blake chose the perfect destination wedding venue in Rosemary Beach, Florida, just east of Destin on the beautiful beaches of 30A. The Pointe in Rosemary Beach is a gorgeous, rooftop wedding venue overlooking the iconic white beaches and Gulf of Mexico. The wedding venue gives couples the flexibility to bring in their vendors and Carly reached out to SunQuest Beach Weddings for all their needs. Carly and Blake needed a variety of wedding services that could all be met with our company, making it easy and stress-free.
Our wedding planner, Kristi, worked closely with the couple, who resided in Georgia. Carly and Blake were able to trust Kristi and our team to be their local experts from hundreds of miles away to make sure all their wedding details were perfect. Via email and phone, they were able to work together on wedding planning, wedding design, wedding flowers, catering and wedding rentals.
All the wedding and vendor coordination was managed by SunQuest Beach Weddings including the wedding ceremony and wedding reception layouts. Our in-house wedding florist designed some beautiful arrangements including lanterns and lush greenery for the wedding ceremony, and elegant white flowers with greenery accents for the bouquets and centerpieces. SunQuest Beach Weddings supplied all the rentals for the wedding and reception including white wooden chairs, linens, tables and more. For the reception, Carly and Blake worked with SunQuest Catering to design a custom wedding menu including Pineapple Glazed Chicken, Herb-Crusted Tenderloin, Kung Pao Shrimp and Filet Mignon Crostini.

“Kristi and her team at Sunquest Beach Weddings gave me the destination wedding of my dreams.
I live in Georgia and planned a wedding on 30A with them at The Pointe wedding venue in Rosemary Beach. Kristi and I communicated through email and by phone for the entire 6 months that we planned my wedding. She would give me recommendations on things she thought I needed, while still working within my budget.
A month before my wedding, Kristi and her team came up with a layout for my rooftop wedding venue, and got in touch with the wedding venue in order to set everything up. Thankfully, I was able to use SunQuest Beach Weddings for my food, rentals and florals (which made everything 10x’s easier than dealing with multiple different vendors.)
The day of my wedding I was very nervous, because you work so hard to make something right– but planning an out of town wedding I had not seen ANYTHING in person yet. Thankfully, my husband (pretty hard to impress) walked up to the rooftop first, and came down with a huge smile on his face to tell me that I was going to love it AND I DID. It was absolutely beautiful, and Kristi and her team delivered everything they said they were going to and more.
The staff that worked my wedding was amazing, and would not let anyone (bride, groom, family member) lift a finger. We did a family style appetizer (Kung Pao Shrimp, and Filet Mignon Crostini)– and OMG it was so delicious. Our dinner was pineapple glazed chicken and herb crusted tenderloin, which was also AMAZING.
All aspects of Sunquest Beach Weddings were absolutely amazing, and I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding – WORTH EVERY PENNY.”
